Urban Eats opens in Mount Rainier

One door closes, another opens: Urban Eats, a new restaurant and coffee shop in Mount Rainier, has just opened in the space (3311 Rhode Island Ave.) formerly occupied by Artmosphere. Early reports on the ListServe are that the food is 'delicious' and service friendly.

Keep in mind their somewhat unusual hours and avoid disappointment. Urban Eats is closed Monday and Tuesday. They're open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 4:00PM to 10:00PM, but with 'kitchen service' only available from 4:30 to 9:30.

On Saturday and Sunday they're open 10:00AM to 4:00PM, but again the kitchen opens a half hour after and closes a half hour before the Cafe does.
